Each Tuesday I will deliver to you two things that are relevant to wellness.
- Fresh start – picture your birthday cake coming your way with your family around you. As you focus on the birthday wish and blow out your candles, you have changed your mindset. Here is a powerful message from 3 SIMPLE steps to create POWERFUL changes in your life | The Mel Robbins Podcast – Bing video. (A podcast she delivers in a “firecracker” T-shirt, warning it is a long one). When Mel records this podcast, it is her birthday. Well, my birthday is this Thursday. So, I am making a wish, I’m doing one simple thing to move towards that wish each day and looking for other lights on my path. If Mel can simplify I can! I am looking forward to enjoying my birthday in the beautiful Rocky Mountains with my family. Photos to follow 😊
- Mood Boards – So call me old (it is my birthday week) but where did mood boards come from? What happened to vision boards? Mood boards/books can be created for your life, a part of it, or for fun things like dinner parties and kids birthdays. The reality is I have had a form of mood boards as long as I can remember. In the old days I tore pages out of magazines and made collections. The lo-fi way is to cut out photos, words, quotes, whatever fits your theme. Then you can paste it to a board or even the inside of a cupboard you open often. The online way would be options like Canva which has a mood board section or Pinterest. Here’s some ideas to get you started from the Graphic Mama.
Are the winter blues hitting you? I know I stood in the sun today trying to soak up some vitamin D. This year’s retreat will focus on you and your natural design. You will see yourself in a new light, have some ah ha moments, develop some new skills, connect and re-connect with like-minded women, and support a great cause. All the details coming your way in March, I am so excited to share them with you. You only have a few weeks left to take advantage of the early bird pricing for the Nov. 3 – 5, 2023 Women in Leadership Retreat in Canmore. Just $200 saves your spot and keeps your total price at $575 for the workshop. This offer disappears the moment the conference is announced. So don’t delay register to save your spot today. (Accommodation cost additional but at a great rate)
